Social Insurance in Japan (Kenko Hoken)

Kenko Hoken are for the people who work in any companies or factories and his or her family. The requirement is "Working full-time or over three-fourth of full-time at the company that has Kenko Hoken". And the procedure is generally completed by the person in charge at your company.

The expense of Kenko Hoken depends on your income, and your company and you need to pay the expense each month, so your expense is only half of total expense. When your dependents is added, for example birth, the expenses doesn't increase.
